Anastasiades and Akinci hold brainstorming session in Geneva on Security and Guarantees

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci continue in the afternoon their UN-led negotiations at the Palace of Nations, in Geneva, with a brainstorming on the issues of Security and Guarantees.

Their meeting is expected to conclude at 2000 local time. The two leaders and their aides are also expected to discuss issues regarding the chapter of Governance.

Negotiator Andreas Mavroyiannis and the Director of the President's Diplomatic Office, Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides are also attending the meeting on the part of the Greek Cypriot side.

Tonight the Swiss government will host a dinner for the delegations of the two sides in Geneva and the political party leaders of representatives of the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot community who are in Geneva.
