Cyprus leaders hold private meeting in Geneva with UNSG's Special Adviser

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci are holding on Tuesday evening in Geneva a private meeting with UN Secretary General's Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide, without members of their negotiating teams, CNA has learnt.

Meanwhile experts of the Greek Cypriot side and the Turkish Cypriot side on Governance had a meeting on Tuesday afternoon, chaired by the negotiators of the two sides Andreas Mavroyiannis and Ozdil Nami.

Moreover, Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot experts on the issue of Property had in the afternoon a one and a half hour meeting with officials of the World Bank and the IMF, Enrique Carrol and Vincenso Cuzzo, respectively.

Following this meeting, the experts of the two sides continued their discussions on pending issues of the chapter of Property.
